Holbox

In the north-eastern Yucatan Peninsula, where it joins the Caribbean Sea
and Gulf of Mexico, lies the island of Holbox. Depending on the direction
of the wind, the sea becomes a turquoise Caribbean, or green bay. On the
island can be reached by plane or by car and ferry.

In addition to wonderful beaches with an abundance of shells of different
colors and shapes to Holbox you can visit the lagoon Yalahao (Yalahao),
watch the dolphins, swim with whale sharks, visit the Bird Island (Isla de
Pajaros), or just relax.

Almost extinct yastrebonosye turtles lay their eggs on the beaches of soft
Holbox.
