Costa Brava





Costa Brava, Spanish for "wild rocky shore," - a famous resort, which
is a strip of Mediterranean coast, which begins 40 kilometers north of
Barcelona and extends across the entire province of Gerona to the border
with France. The area is known for spectacular scenery, where the rocky
shore, covered with pine and fir, alternating with small cozy coves and
quiet bays. Blue sky, clean air, wonderful sandy beaches will give you the
opportunity to enjoy the warm freshness of the transparent waters of the
Mediterranean. Many of the local towns are known well-developed resort
infrastructure, but along with that preserved the original places that
attract the exotic appearance of a quiet fishing village in medieval
times.





On the Costa Brava a very convenient transportation. Commuter trains
run from





Barcelona along the coast to the town of Blanes every 30-50 minutes (at
night time traffic stops). The fare one way - about 3-5 euros. Near the

where the main bus terminal, connecting the city with other health resorts
of Costa Brava.





Costa del Maresme - part of the coast of Catalonia,

Blanes - the southernmost point of the Costa Brava

Lloret de Map - a small town whose history dates
